This event is free to attend and will be hosted on the Guild’s website for members to view at their leisure. You can read more about membership here.

If this session is of interest, you should also check out Bev’s other workshop on Reaching Audiences.

In this workshop you’ll be creating a personalised social media plan ready to put into action. We’ll be exploring a number of key questions:

● What is it (exactly) you want to promote?

● Why are you promoting it and what do you want to achieve?

● Who are your audience and how do you connect with them?

● What type of content should you post?

● Which social media platforms should you use?

● When should you post and how often?

This workshop is specifically designed for artists, makers, writers, musicians and other creatives. We’ll be looking at how you can use social media to get the most impact from the least input, so it doesn’t take up all your creative time.

This workshop will be led by Bev Webb:

‘I have 30 years experience of working with visual arts, theatre and dance companies. In addition to managing arts organisations, I’ve held senior roles specialising in marketing, communications and creative business development. I’ve been running a freelance creative consultancy for more than 12 years advising creative businesses on all aspects of marketing and communications. I’m also a visual artist, working mainly in sculpture, installation and performance/time-based work.’
