How to... Use Writing to Support your Creative Practice

Theatre Deli 202 Eyre Street, Sheffield, S1 4QZ
10:00 am - 10th June, 2019

Ideas bank in the red? Motivation low? Struggling with self-doubt, inner critics or rejection? This workshop is for you.

In this fun, interactive workshop, coach and writer, Beverley Ward, will share the many ways in which she uses writing to support a creative life. You'll have a go at using writing as a tool for play, relaxation, mindfulness, goal setting and battling with those demons.

Beverley Ward is an award-winning writer who has been facilitating writing workshops for twenty years. Recently described by a workshop attendee as 'the Marie Kondo of writing" she believes in using writing to spark joy. Come prepared to be sparked!

You don't need to be a confident writer to attend. All you need is a notebook and pen. (Buying new stationery for the purpose is not essential but always recommended by Beverley who, like all writers, loves a good notebook).

This event is free for Guild members to attend. Read more about what the Guild has to offer and how to join for as little as £1.66 per month here.

Our How to... workshops support our members to develop their skills and knowledge and grow their businesses. We focus on a variety of topics that help our members grow and thrive, we are also open to suggestions from members on topics they think may be useful so do get in touch!
