If you are new to grant fundraising or just need a bit of inspiration to get you writing that next funding bid then this workshop offers crucial information and friendly advice to help you increase your organisation's income through grant funding. This quick fire look at the grant funding process will include:

  • where to find funding opportunities and how to decide which funds are right for you;
  • how to argue need;
  • an exploration of outcomes and impact;
  • what makes a good budget

and some top tips for increasing your success rate.

Tracey Shibli has over 30 years experience working in the cultural sector. Her freelance fundraising career was launched in 2008 when she became the the lead bid writer for Friends of Endcliffe Playground raising £340,000 for the refurbishment of this popular children's playground. Since then she has worked on a range of capital, revenue and project based campaigns. Recent and current clients include, Greentop Community Circus, Forced Entertainment Ltd and Sheffield Industrial Museums.
