Connecting the Dots is an intergenerational project that aims to connect young people and adults from African and Caribbean backgrounds to co-create a short-film inspired by our Passing the Baton Documentary: The Legacy of the Windrush Pioneers released November 2021 which is available to watch here.
Who are we looking for?
- Young people age 15 – 65+
- Young people of African and Caribbean descent (however, we welcome young people of all race and ethnicities to audition for our extra roles and our production team).
- Young people would like to try something new!
We are running auditions for various roles from Saturday 29th – Thursday 4th February at DINA Venue (12 Fitzalan Square, Sheffield Cuty Centre, Sheffield, S1 2AZ). Audition dates and times are as followed:
- Saturday 29th January: 1:45pm – 4pm
- Tuesday 1st February: 5pm – 7pm
- Wednesday 2nd February: 5pm – 7pm
- Thursday 3rd February: 5pm – 7pm
There are also exciting opportunities to work on set as part of our production crew live on set such as: directing, sound operating, lighting, running and other exciting areas in filmmaking!
