BFI NETWORK – Talent Executive

Posted on: 09/08/2021

The BFI are looking for a new BFI NETWORK Talent Executive to support our work developing a new wave of filmmakers in the North of England.

Film Hub North supports early-career filmmakers in the North of England through a combination of funding, training and community building. They finance short films and the early development of features, deliver an extensive schedule of events and creative development programmes, and champion filmmakers from the region.

The BFI NETWORK Talent Executive will join the Hub’s Talent Development team. Working alongside their colleagues, they will ensure the BFI’s filmmaker development work is effective, inclusive and creatively accomplished. The Talent Executive will be responsible for discovering and developing early-career filmmakers in the region – with a particular focus on Yorkshire and the North West – supporting them to access funding and training opportunities, and providing assistance and oversight on the projects the BFI fund.

This is a full-time, fixed term contract until 31 March 2023 (subject to annual funding). The salary is £32,000 per annum.

The closing date for applications is Monday, 6 September 2021.
