We are expanding our pool of casual staff. Support participants of all ages in workshops, work front-of-house on events, and help us deliver our year-round programme when it suits you.
Hours: a mixture of daytime, evenings and weekends.
Salary: £9.50 per hour
This role is responsible for supporting and assisting the lead artist-facilitator/s in workshop sessions, and/or ensuring audiences and participants are warmly welcomed to our events, performances, screenings and activities in non-traditional spaces.
Creative sessions could be anything from intergenerational choir, to woodwork for wellbeing, to theatre-making, to photography, to pottery – and everything in between.
You will be responsible for helping to set up and pack down spaces, greeting people, taking registers and payments, coordinating refreshments, and most importantly supporting participants with activities during the session.
Our work is intergenerational, and activities are for everybody: this means there may be varying ability/experience levels and occasionally people with additional needs, for example people living with dementia, or with a learning disability. This is also a very social role – the conversations are as important as the activities.
