We are looking for a freelance Creative Producer to work on our Sheffield Curriculum Adventures project.
Dates: June 2022 – December 2023
Create Sheffield has been awarded funding from IVE to deliver a new schools-based project in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University and Sheffield Museums which will enhance learning for children in the city. The aim of this pioneering project is to explore how place-based learning, within the context of a 15-minute neighbourhood, can build the cultural capital of children and young people.
It will focus initially on schools and local communities in Shirecliffe as a pilot to creating a Sheffield Curriculum extending in other parts of the city. The project learning will be linked to 3 other Local Cultural Education Partnerships within Yorkshire & the Humber, where similar collaborative projects are taking place that share the same objectives.
The role of Producer will be responsible for leading the project development and delivery from overseeing an idea to finished content. They will work to deliver the project focused on the aims, outcomes and objectives outlined in the funding application.
They will be supported and managed by Create Sheffield Manager, who will in turn report to the Board of Trustees. The Producer will be supported by a Project Steering Group, made up of Partners (including the evaluator and one Trustee).
