Online Engagement Officer – Sheffield Museums Trust

As part of the Communications team, the Online Engagement Officer will work with colleagues across the organisation and the people we collaborate with to develop a programme of compelling online content that has people’s stories at its heart.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,213 per annum pro rata (actual salary £15,332)

You’ll liaise closely with all staff teams, as well as communities and project partners, to co-create a broad range of impactful content. Working with you, all our teams will grow their digital confidence, enabling them to recognise and realise opportunities to make meaningful connections with our digital audiences.

The content you’ll create with colleagues and partners, for both social media and our web platforms, will engage audiences with all areas of physical and digital work, from our exhibitions and events to our commercial offer. It will celebrate the remarkable stories of the city and its museum collections, and share expertise and insight of all kinds, from specialist knowledge to lived experiences.
