We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Public Art Officer to join our Development Management section, within the Design, Conservation and Trees team of Planning Services as the Council’s Design expert.
Salary: £36,371 – £39,571
You should ideally have minimum five years post degree experience, have excellent communication, team working and organisational skills.
You will provide specialist advice to the Development Management team on all aspects of integrating Public Art proposals within new developments. In this role you will be a lead liaison with external bodies and elected members.
You will hold a relevant qualification and have knowledge and competence of the Adobe suite (particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and CAD software.
Officers are working remotely from the office currently; however, you would be expected to be based locally given the anticipated gradual easing of Covid 19 restrictions and the need to carry out site visits within Sheffield City Council’s administrative area.
