The Reading Agency are working with a number of organisations including the BBC and BFI to deliver a nationwide, immersive story-telling project celebrating local communities’ untold and underrepresented stories.
As part of the project, we are seeking individuals for a paid role curating the hidden histories of their community using innovative technology.
We are looking for individuals with at 3 years’ experience of telling stories – in theatre, film, games, radio, community, or history/archive projects – and are interested to hear from people with a real connection to Sheffield and a passion for telling the stories others might not know about the area.
Successful applicants will receive £15k for a three-month placement, which will involve interviewing local people, conducting research and using the BFI’s incredible archives and 3D-scanning technology. There will also be opportunity for training and career development support.
