Venue Manager (Live Music & Events) – Sidney & Matilda

We are now looking to welcome a new Venue Manager into the business to help us continue to achieve our operational and strategic goals.

Hours: 48 hours a week
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £26k-£28k Basic + KPI related bonus up to 20%*

As venue manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all business operations and people management at the venue
  • Financial forecasting and managing business expenditure within budgeted parameters including gross profit (GP) margins, Stockholding, Labour and all other controllable costs
  • Designated premises supervisor responsibilities ensuring the business operates in line with licensing objectives
  • Maintaining a safe environment for team and guest through H&S compliance and due diligence
  • Driving the business forward from the front, developing a high performing team and delivering an exceptional customer experience raising standards across the business
  • Working closely with the Events Manager to develop and deliver an effective marketing strategy across a range of platforms that drives engagement and footfall
  • Utilising the tools and resources at your disposal to drive consistency
  • Developing Junior Manager workflows to ensure maximum efficiency in all areas of the business
  • Building relationships in the industry and community to develop an original, quality and diverse events calendar
  • Identifying opportunities that allow the venue to flourish in line with our core values
