Hi- I'm a solicitor providing cultural, charity law and governance advice. I qualified as a solicitor in 1995, and since then I've been helping charities and other individuals and organisations in the cultural, creative, heritage, educational and media sectors.
Since the law changed to allow multi-disciplinary partnerships, I've been growing Counterculture’s legal team. We provide guidance and assistance on governance, intellectual property, business law, contracts, website regulations and charity law. I also contribute to workshops, planning days, talks, written reports and provide other bespoke guidance.
Keith is a Governance Associate for the Clore Leadership Programme. I've been an Independent Advisory Board member for Screen Yorkshire. I'm the Company Secretary for the Children’s Media Conference, Creative and Cultural Industries and Leeds Culture Trust. My research includes the effect on charity law of the Charity Governance Code. He is a member of the Charity Law Association.
Oh, and in my spare time, I'm a theatre producer for Kitchen Sink Live.
