I am a film professional with experience working for film festivals and institutes, specialising in industry events programming and producing. I have a DipHe in Humanities, a BA in Cultural Mediation (Paris Sorbonne) and a MA in Film and Media Studies (Copenhagen University).1qa
Since 2018, I have been working for Sheffield DocFest's Industry Team, first as the Marketplace Coordinator, then as the Industry Programme Producer, designing and producing a variety of industry focused events (pitching forum, round-tables, live pitches, sessions and year round training programmes for filmmakers). In 2019, I coordinated a development lab for emerging non fiction filmmakers at Open City Docs, in London. Prior to that, I worked for Nordisk Panorama, the Nordic Short Film Festival, in Copenhagen.
For the last two years, I have been a previewer for Glasgow Short Film Festival. In 2020, I was part of the Development Forum Committee of This Way UP, The UK film exhibition conference.
I am also a programmer for Doc/Fest's Northern Focus strand, celebrating new works by northern filmmakers.
In my free time, I like making summer rolls, sneezing and learning to play guitar.
