Soraya Nabipour

I’m theatre-maker, facilitator and practice-based PhD researcher at the University of Sheffield. I’m interested in non-traditional performance practices and participatory theatre.  

I have worked in a variety of community theatre and drama education contexts, more recently with experimental theatre company Forced Entertainment, helping to set up their participation programme for young people.

Alongside my research I have worked as a performer and collaborator with New York-based experimental performance companies New York City Players and The Wooster Group, performing in London and New York.
