Ruth Nutter
I am a freelance Creative Producer and Practitioner, and author of ‘Paradise is Here: Building Community Around Things That Matter’, published by the Guild of St George in November 2020. From 2014 – 2019 I was Producer of the award-winning ‘Ruskin in Sheffield’ programme of community-led events and activities which engaged 25,000 people with their own creativity, local nature, heritage and each other, working with 30 culture & community partners, and 150 volunteers & professional artists.
Previous roles include Creative Associate for community engagement specialists Encounters; Producer for Push, award-winning London arts company led by Josette-Bushell-Mingo; Producer for People Show performance artists; Associate Producer for Nottingham Playhouse and Donmar Warehouse; Marketing and script reading for Tricycle and Royal Exchange Theatres.
